These Terms of Use govern the use of the ID-Truster mobile application and related services (“Service”), operated by ID-Truster ApS, Denmark.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Service

ID-Truster helps users build a personal contact book with trusted contacts. Users are responsible for verifying the identity of the contacts they add. ID-Truster does not guarantee the identity, intent, or behavior of other users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 15 years old to use ID-Truster.

3. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying the identity of your contacts
  • Protecting your phone, device, and app access
  • Securing your login credentials

If your phone, connection, or device is compromised, monitored, or accessed by third parties, ID-Truster cannot provide protection and is not liable for any resulting misuse.

4. User Data and GDPR

ID-Truster fully complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

You own your personal data at all times and may delete your account whenever you choose. Upon deletion, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently removed.

We may store the following data:

  • Profile image (optional)
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Company name (optional)
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)

5. SMS Verification

When adding a phone number, you may receive a one-time verification SMS from ID-Truster ApS.

  • Message and data rates may apply
  • Reply STOP to opt out
  • Reply HELP for assistance

Phone numbers are used solely for account verification and security purposes.

6. User-Created Connections

Users may connect with other ID-Truster users. Each user is responsible for ensuring the correctness of the person they connect with. ID-Truster does not verify relationships or confirm real-world identity.

7. Changes to These Terms

ID-Truster ApS reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is”.

ID-Truster is not liable for impersonation, fraud, loss, or damage resulting from:

  • User actions
  • Compromised devices
  • Network or third-party interference

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any dispute shall be settled by Danish arbitration.
